Panavir gel 0.002% 5g

Panavir® is a purified extract of the shoots of the Solanum tuberosum plant; its main active ingredient is a hexose glycoside consisting of glucose, rhamnose, arabinose, mannose, xylose, galactose, and uronic acids.

Panavir® has a virustatic effect. It is active against herpes simplex viruses types I and II. It inhibits viral replication and polymerase reactions, blocking the synthesis of viral DNA in affected cells of the skin and/or mucous membranes.

Testing has shown no mutagenic, teratogenic, carcinogenic, allergenic, or embryotoxic effects. Preclinical studies in laboratory animals have not revealed any negative effects on reproductive function or fetal development.

Apply a thin layer of the gel (ointment) to the affected areas of the skin and/or mucous membranes 5 times daily.

For the treatment of infectious and inflammatory diseases of the skin and/or mucous membranes caused by the herpes simplex virus types I and II (including genital herpes) – 5 times daily for 4-5 days. The course of treatment can be extended to 10 days.

For the treatment of human papillomavirus infection – 2 times daily for 5 days before and 10 days after laser destruction of condylomas.
