Troxevasin is a mixture of hydroxyethyl derivatives of rutin, in which tri-hydroxyethyl rutoside predominates with P-vitamin activity. Troxevasin has a pronounced venotonic, capillarotonic, antiexudative and hemostatic effect.
The drug reduces the permeability and fragility of capillaries, has a decongestant and anti-inflammatory effect. It blocks the venodilating effect of histamine, bradykinin, acetylcholine. It has anti-inflammatory effect on the peritoneal tissue and has a pronounced antiplatelet effect.
The drug does not have embryotoxic, teratogenic and mutagenic effects.

- troxerutin 300 mg
Excipients:
lactose monohydrate - 47 mg,
magnesium stearate - 3 mg.
Shell composition:
quinoline yellow dye (E104) - 0.9%,
dye sunny sunset yellow (E110) - 0.039%,
titanium dioxide (E171) - 3%,
gelatin - up to 100%.
Indications
Chronic venous insufficiency, postphlebitis syndrome, trophic disorders in varicose veins and trophic ulcers. As an adjunct treatment after sclerotherapy of veins and removal of varicose nodes. Hemorrhoids (pain, exudation, itching and bleeding).
Venous insufficiency and hemorrhoids during pregnancy, starting from the II trimester.
As an adjunct treatment of retinopathy in patients with diabetes mellitus, arterial hypertension and atherosclerosis.
Troxevasin should be used during pregnancy (II and III trimesters) and during lactation if the expected benefit to the mother prevails over the possible risk to the fetus and baby.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to rutosides or to other components of the drug.
Pregnancy (I trimester).
Peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum, chronic gastritis in the acute phase, children under three years of age (solid dosage form).
Caution should be used (long-term use) for renal failure, children from 3 to 15 years
The effect is enhanced while taking ascorbic acid.
Take orally at the beginning of treatment, appoint 1 capsule 2 times / day (morning and evening), during maintenance therapy - 1 capsule / day for 3-4 weeks or more.
With retinopathy, the drug is prescribed 1-2 capsules 3 times / day.
Capsules should be taken with meals.
In case of an overdose, the following symptoms may appear: agitation, nausea, headache, flushing of the face.
In case of an overdose, patients need to rinse their stomach, take activated charcoal, and if necessary, begin symptomatic treatment.
