Diatomaceous earth and Silica (silicon oxide) - a rock that contains algae - is the basis of the mask, has the properties of a soft sorbent, hardens into a dense elastic mass.
Calcium sulfate is a calcium salt with stearic acid; when hardened, the mask creates a plasticizing effect that promotes deep penetration of the active ingredients applied under the mask.
Alginate is a salt of alginic acid, a polysaccharide obtained from brown algae, which is a block copolymer of D-mannuronic and L-guluronic acids.
Spirulina - actively prevents the aging process of the skin, rejuvenates and smoothes it, enriches it with essential microelements.
Iron oxide, titanium dioxide, chromium hydroxide, mica, ultramarine - mineral dyes.
Directions for use: To prepare a face mask, mix 1 part of the mask with 3 parts of water at room temperature until the consistency of thick sour cream. Immediately apply the mask to previously cleansed skin, with a layer of 2-3 mm. Quick application is necessary, as otherwise the mask will plasticize in the bowl, and further manipulation will be useless. It is advisable to cover the eyes and lips with the mass for a better lymphatic drainage effect. The mask should not be applied in a thin layer, as it may dry out during exposure and will be quite difficult to remove. A mask layer of 3 mm is quite sufficient, especially at the edges, which, if possible, should also not be pulled out too much. It is recommended to remove the mask after 15-30 minutes in one layer (“stocking”) from bottom to top, after slightly detaching it at the edges of the skin. Remains of the mask are removed with a damp cloth.
We recommend applying active ingredients (oils, combinations of oils, emulsions, etc.) under the mask, since the metabolic processes between the mask and the skin “push” the necessary ingredients deep into the dermis. Alginate masks are recommended at any age and for any skin type.
The recommended course is 5-15 procedures, performed 1-4 times a week, depending on the problem being solved. A 150 ml mask is enough for 6-8 procedures.
