Cellular juice of turmeric and boswellia with polyprenols MIX 93 TIGER® is a natural complex with anti-inflammatory and antiviral activity.
The anti-inflammatory effect of MIX 93 TIGER® is associated with the suppression of the synthesis of leukotrienes, which, like COX-enzymes and prostaglandins, are mediators of the inflammatory response.
The body synthesizes leukotrienes from arachidonic acid (omega-6) or from eicosapentaenoic acid (omega-3) through their oxidation. This reaction is catalyzed by arachidonate 5-lipoxygenase or the LOX-5 enzyme. A decrease in the activity of this enzyme under the action of the natural complex MIX 93 TIGER® leads to a powerful anti-inflammatory effect. In addition, the LOX-5 enzyme is involved in viral replication. The suppression of LOX-5, combined with the antiviral effect of polyprenols, provides the complex with great potential in the fight against acute and chronic infections caused by influenza and herpes viruses.
The other components of MIX 93 TIGER® are boswellia (Boswellia sacra) or frankincense resin and turmeric (Curcuma longa).
