The cream contains Acmella Oleracea leaf extract and a combination of essential oils as its main active ingredients. It has the following properties:
increases local circulation and microcirculation;
activates anabolic processes at the site of application;
reduces pain;
has an antispasmodic effect.
Most of the cream's effects are due to the influence of its active ingredients on TRPV1 receptors (channels of the transient receptor potential of the cation subfamily of vanilloid channels 1, capsaicin receptors).
TRPV1 is part of our somatosensory regulation, that is, the processing of signals from the senses and the body's response to them. In the case of TRPV1, first of all, we are talking about the sensation of pain and heat.
The most famous compound that acts on these receptors is capsaicin, the active molecule of hot pepper, which relieves pain and significantly increases local circulation. However, its significant drawback is that the body reacts to it as if it were a burn, although there is none.
The next molecule whose beneficial properties are associated with TRPV1 is the endogenous peptide BPC-157, discovered during a study of the human stomach.
Acmella contains spilantone and other compounds that also interact with TRPV1 receptors, which provides most of the indicated effects of the cream.
Acmella and microcirculation
Acmella cream increases circulation and microcirculation. Moreover, the closer the application site to the target organ, the better.
An important nuance of using the cream is the specificity of the effects of "activation" of a particular organ:
when applied to the liver area, you can count on general physical activation, vigor, a surge of strength; when applied to the back of the neck, cerebral circulation will be enhanced with a characteristic effect on cognitive activity;
based on acmella hydrogels, "vibrogels" and other products for application to intimate areas are made, which provide local tissue activation and can provide prolongation effects.
Acmella, local anabolism and antispasmodic effect
To complement the effect of enhancing tissue circulation and accelerating the penetration of active acmella molecules, the cream contains antispasmodic essential oils.
Acmella, like BPC-157, enhances not only circulation, but also receptors of various anabolic growth factors, which also significantly activates local tissues.
TRPV1 and pain
A considerable part of the regulation of pain sensations is associated with TRPV1 receptors. Thus, the analgesic effects of cannabinoids, such as cannabidiol, are partly mediated by their action on TRPV1 receptors. At the same time, Acmella does not have the disadvantages of the above molecule, such as pulmonary side effects and immunosuppression. Other "pain" systems associated with TRPV1 receptors include eicosanoids/prostaglandins and the kallikrein-kinin system.
Thus, Acmella cream can be very useful for hyperalgesia (high sensitivity to pain stimuli) and for pain relief. The product has a rather unique set of effects that are mediated by the action of Acmella extract actives on TRPV1 receptors and enhanced by essential oils with antispasmodic properties.
