Ingredients: Black walnut berries, linden blossoms, licorice root, mullein flowers, thyme, anise; chicory syrup (inulin, a prebiotic).
Organoleptic properties (taste, smell, and color) may vary between batches, but this does not affect the balm's properties. These properties are due to the natural characteristics of the plant material (growing region, weather conditions, etc.).
Properties: The biologically active substances in the syrup's plant components normalize the functioning of the bronchopulmonary system, strengthen the immune system, increase the body's resistance to infectious and viral diseases, and reduce the risk of complications from influenza, acute respiratory infections, and acute respiratory viral infections. Linden flowers contain a high concentration of healing essential oils, saponins, salicylates, tannins, and mucilage, which accounts for their beneficial properties. They have antipyretic, diaphoretic, expectorant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and antispasmodic effects, and boost immunity. They improve gastrointestinal function and metabolism, and are excellent for dry coughs, bronchitis, and respiratory diseases.
Licorice root has anti-inflammatory, antihistamine, anti-allergic, and antispasmodic properties. It regulates water-salt metabolism, soothes coughs, and inhibits tumor growth. It has antiviral, antibacterial, and antitoxic effects, strengthening the body's natural defenses.
Mullein flowers have anti-inflammatory and expectorant properties. Thyme has enveloping and softening properties and contains a large amount of saponins and mucus, which significantly relieve coughs associated with catarrh of the upper respiratory tract and laryngitis. It is especially effective for smoker's cough.
Thyme herb has antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and bronchodilator properties and is an excellent remedy for respiratory diseases such as tracheitis and bronchitis, whooping cough, pneumonia, and tuberculosis.
Anise fruits have anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic properties. They are used as an expectorant, analgesic, disinfectant, diaphoretic, and antipyretic. They improve the secretory function of the respiratory tract.
Directions: Take twice daily with a small amount of water, 30 minutes before meals. Adults: 5 ml; children over 3 years: 2.5 ml. Duration of treatment: 25 days. If necessary, repeat the treatment after a 14-day break.
Contraindications: Individual intolerance to the components.
Indigestive discomfort may occur if you are hypersensitive to the prebiotic (inulin). Increased gas production during the first few days of use indicates a prebiotic effect and the growth of beneficial microflora. Within 5-7 days of regular use, the digestive system will adapt and gas production will return to normal. Otherwise, discontinue use of the syrup.
After opening, refrigerate the bottle for no more than 1 month. A slight sediment may remain.
