Milk peeling is one of the most gentle exfoliation methods that can be used all year round. Thanks to this, it has no serious restrictions and is suitable for any age and skin type.
Lactic acid significantly heals the skin, gently evens out the tone, refreshes the complexion, intensively moisturizes and copes with dryness, inhibits the development of pathogenic flora, helps to cope with acne and rejuvenates. Given the small size of the lactic acid molecule, it easily penetrates into the pores, dissolves sebaceous deposits, comedones, blackheads and other impurities. Due to this, the pores are quickly tightened and the skin acquires an incredibly attractive smooth appearance.
Lactic acid enhances the barrier functions of the dermis, promotes the production of ceramides, which actively rejuvenate, activates fibroblasts, increasing the synthesis of hyaluronic acid.
Separately, it is worth noting that lactic acid blocks the production of tyrosinase, an enzyme involved in the formation of melanin. This means that it prevents and reduces existing pigmentation.
