FERMENCOL GEL is recommended for the care of problematic and scarred skin after operations, wounds, burns, pyoinflammatory skin diseases, acne.
Fermencol is a unique enzyme composition of nine collagenolytic proteases with a molecular weight of 20-100 kDa, obtained from the digestive organs of marine invertebrates. As part of this drug, there are no additional impurities (lipoproteins, polysaccharides or pigments).
Fermencol has the ability to break down branched collagen molecules with nodular and vortex styling into amino acids, which are characteristic of keloid and hypertrophic scars. The destruction of excess collagen leads to the restoration of water and electrolyte balance and the structure of scar tissue.
Fermencol is an effective correction of scars. Fermencol is a means for targeted care for scarred skin. It is used to improve the appearance of scars, post-acne and stretch marks. The basis of Fermencol products is a powerful complex of 9 collagenase enzymes, which destroys the main components of scar tissue and restores a healthy look to the skin.
Composition:
Fermencol is a unique enzyme composition of 9 collagenolytic proteases with a molecular weight of 20 to 100 kDa obtained from the digestive organs of marine invertebrates. The drug does not contain additional impurities (pigments, polysaccharides, lipoproteins).
Release form:
Fermencol in the form of a gel (transparent mass). One gram of gel contains 0.1 mg of collagenase complex - the main active ingredient of the drug.
Pharmachologic effect:
Fermencol exhibits both general proteolytic and collagenolytic activity. Fermencol has the ability to hydrolyze branched molecules of pathological collagen with vortex and nodular styling, characteristic of hypertrophic and keloid scars, into individual amino acids. As a result of the destruction of excess collagen, the structure and water-electrolyte balance of scar tissue are restored.
The effect of the use of 9 collagenase enzymes that have a complex effect on scar tissue:
skin texture and color are evened out;
itching and discomfort disappear;
increases the elasticity of the scar;
active growth of the scar stops;
prevents the formation of a rough scar.
Usage:
Fermencol can be used to correct scars and prevent their development in various areas of cosmetology and surgery (post-burn and postoperative scars, acne treatment, as well as correction of acne consequences). Fermencol should be used three weeks after a burn, injury or surgery.
Mode of application:
Before using Fermencol in the form of a gel, it is necessary to clean the damaged area of skin with a special cosmetic product. Apply the gel with light movements (do not rub).
Application. Apply the gel in a thin layer with light movements on clean, dry skin.
Frequency: 2-3 times a day.
Course duration: 30-40 days.
Interval between courses: 10-14 days.
It is recommended for the correction of emerging scar-changed areas of the skin.
Phonophoresis. It is possible to use phonophoresis to increase the effectiveness of Fermencol gel. Before the procedure, apply the gel in a sufficient amount on clean, dry skin.
Mode of administration: radiation intensity when used in the area of the trunk and extremities - 0.3 W/cm2, in the area of the face and neck - 0.2 W/cm2.
The duration of the procedure per area: 3-5 minutes.
The total duration of the procedure on several areas should not exceed 20 minutes.
Frequency of procedures: daily, the allowable interval between procedures is no more than 2 days.
Course duration: 10-15 procedures.
Interval between courses: 10-14 days.
It is recommended for the correction of formed scar-changed areas of the skin.
Contraindications:
Atrophic and hypotrophic scars, individual intolerance to collagenase. Fermencol contains active enzymes and in case of hypersensitivity of the skin, the drug can cause redness, which usually disappears immediately after discontinuation of the drug. It is not recommended to use the drug to correct skin stretch marks.
Precautionary measures:
100%
In case of hypersensitive skin, apply after application skin tests with application of a solution or gel for 24-48 hours.
If a dry agent, its solutions, as well as the gel get into the eyes, rinse them with water.
Keep away from children.
Apply no earlier than 2-3 weeks after epithelialization of damaged skin.
