Schizochytrium algae oil is the primary source of Omega-3! Schizochytrium microalgae are the main source of Omega-3 in the marine food chain - they feed on small plankton, which is then absorbed by small animals and fish, which are the main food for large fatty sea fish. Thanks to the consumption of these microalgae, fish becomes a source of Omega-3.
Schizochytrium algae contain DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), which is one of the main polyunsaturated acids of the Omega-3 class. DHA is an omega-3 fatty acid that provides 97% of the omega-3 in our brain and 93% of the retina of our eyes, and it also plays a key role in heart health.

Flaxseed oil is a rich plant source of omega-3 fatty acids. The role of omega-3 fatty acids is well known in reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases, atherosclerosis, cancer, arthritis, osteoporosis, autoimmune and neurological disorders.
