The drug has immunoregulatory, detoxifying, and hepatoprotective effects, inactivating free radicals and peroxide compounds. Its pharmacological action is based on three main effects: correction of the immune system, restoration of the body's oxidative-antioxidant balance, and inhibition of multidrug resistance mediated by proteins of the cellular transmembrane transport pump.

Dosage and Administration
Imunofan is administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly in a single dose of 45 mcg. The maximum daily dose is 45 mcg.
The drug is administered in courses, depending on the intended use and the nature of the disease.
In adults:
As an adjuvant for vaccinations against bacterial and viral infections: a single dose of 45 mcg intramuscularly or subcutaneously on the day of vaccination. In the complex treatment of cancer patients: as part of a radical combination treatment regimen, administer a single daily dose for a course of 8-10 injections before chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery, followed by a continuation of the course throughout the treatment period.
- For patients with advanced tumor disease: administer a single daily dose for a course of 8-10 injections, with a 15-20-day break and then repeat the course throughout the subsequent treatment period.
In the complex treatment of patients with chronic viral hepatitis and brucellosis:
- administer a single daily dose for a course of 15-20 injections.
In the complex treatment of HIV infection and opportunistic infections:
- administer a single daily dose for a course of 15-20 injections. If necessary, a repeat course can be administered after 2-4 weeks. For surgical patients, for the treatment of third- and fourth-degree burns with toxemia and septicotoxemia, for surgical patients with septic endocarditis, cholecystopancreatitis, long-term non-healing wounds of the extremities, and purulent-septic complications:
- once daily, for a course of 7-10 injections; if necessary, the course can be extended to 20 injections.
For broncho-obstructive syndrome and rheumatoid arthritis:
- once every 3 days, for a course of 8-10 injections; if necessary, the course can be extended to 20 injections.
For combination therapy of psoriasis:
- once daily, for a course of 15-20 injections.
For adults and children over 2 years of age.
In combination therapy for inflammatory eye diseases:
for lesions of the anterior segments of the eye (keratitis, keratouveitis) - once daily, for a course of 7-10 injections;
for lesions predominantly of the posterior segments of the eye (peripheral, posterior uveitis, retinovasculitis) and generalized inflammatory processes - once daily, for a course of 15-20 injections.
For the treatment of diphtheria:
- once daily, for a course of 8-10 injections. For diphtheria carriers - once every 3 days, for a course of 3-5 injections.
For combination therapy for children with laryngeal and oropharyngeal papillomatosis in children over 2 years of age:
- once daily, for a course of 10 injections. For the prevention of: exacerbation of chronic viral hepatitis and chronic brucellosis in adults and children over 2 years of age
- once daily for a course of 15-20 injections, with repeat prophylactic courses recommended every 2-3 months;
development of toxicosis in children over 2 years of age with malignant diseases of the hematopoietic and lymphoid tissue
- once daily for a course of 10-20 injections, during and after chemotherapy and radiation therapy.

Composition: Active ingredient: arginyl-alpha-aspartyl-lysyl-valyl-tyrosyl-arginine diacetate (100% anhydrous, acetic acid-free) - 45 mcg;
excipients (glycine 5 mg, sodium chloride 9 mg, water for injection up to 1 ml)

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the drug. Children under 2 years of age.
Pregnancy and lactation:
Due to insufficient study, use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is only recommended if the expected benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus and child.
