It helps to reduce edema, leukocyte infiltration and thrombosis of the venules of the prostate gland, normalizes the secretory function of epithelial cells, increases the amount of lecithin grains in the secretion of acini, stimulates the muscle tone of the bladder.
Reduces thrombosis, has antiplatelet activity.
1 ampoule (1 ml) contains:
active substance: prostate gland extract (water-soluble peptides) 5 mg;
excipients: maltose monohydrate 50 mg, water for injection up to 1 ml.
Intramuscularly, 5-10 mg once a day for 5-10 days.
If necessary, conduct a second course (in 1-6 months).
The maltose contained in Prostacor® may affect blood and urine glucose levels when measured in the laboratory.
