Inactive nutritional yeast mini flakes are made from pure strains of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae grown on cane and beet molasses under special conditions.
Inactive nutritional yeast is not baker's or brewer's yeast, does not contain Candida, is not bitter, and does not have fermentation properties.
Rich in useful amino acids and vegetable fiber, vitamins B1-B2-B3-B5-B6, biotin and minerals: sodium, calcium, potassium, iron, as well as folic acid.
Inactive nutritional yeast flakes contain beta-glucan, a polysaccharide and antioxidant that activates immune system cells without overstimulation. They contain an important antioxidant for the body, glutathione, which is responsible for energy production, enzyme activation, protein synthesis, strengthening the immune system, liver and kidney function.
Thin crispy mini-flakes resemble potato chips, have a pleasant salty creamy cheese taste with hints of porcini mushrooms and nuts.

Application: An ideal product for lean and vegetarian diets. Due to its "cheesy" flavor, inactive nutritional yeast is used as a vegan substitute for cheese. Inactive nutritional yeast can be added to pureed soups and sauces, dressings and gravies, sprinkled on potatoes, pasta, buckwheat, quinoa, or other grains. Mix with tofu and vegetable bases to make lean pâtés and casseroles. Use as a substitute for cheese in pesto and cheese sauces. Simply season a vegetable salad or side dish. Inactive nutritional yeast does not require heat treatment (cooking) and is ready to eat.
